Christmas Photos

Emily came up last night and took some pictures of Grant for me in front of the Christmas Tree. Theses of course will be for our Christmas cards. Here is a sneak preview of what we got. He did a really good job for not feeling the best. I just can't wait for Christmas to be here. I want to give him all of his toys now. I have never been so excited for Christmas in my life. Even as a child I don't think the excitement is was this big. Well thats all I have just wanted you all to see my little guy.

I thought it was time for you to see the two dogs, Theo and Alex. Theo is our mutt and he is quite funny and he is great with Grant. Alex is our German Shepard who is the biggest baby you will every find. He also loves Grant very much. I was worried so much when we first brought Grant home, but right away the dogs warmed up to him. Now you can find all three Grant, Theo, and Alex on the floor. They definitely make our house full. But we would not have it any other way.

Work Christmas Part

Friday was my work Christmas party, and let me say that the Northwest Missouri Cellular Staff we really know how to have a good time. We started the evening at The Stoney Creek Inn, we met in the lobby at 5:45 to travel to the
Boudreaux's the Cajun restaurant for appetizers, dinner and of course drinks. We then left the restaurant about 9:30 we were on are way to Olympia Lanes to do some cosmic bowling. After jell-o shots, more drinks and lots of falls. we left around 1:00 a.m. headed back to the Stoney Creek Inn. Everyone made it safe and sound. I was so sore the next day but that would not stop me. Matthew and I had a football game to get to. Go BEARCATS......yea! They won, and we were both exhausted. It was a great weekend but it is something that I don't want to do every weekend. Grant stayed all night by himself with Grandma and Grandpa first night away from mom and dad. I think that he thought we were going to leave him again, because every time one of us would leave the room, he would cry. Oh on top of that he is still really sick, so we are going to the doctors office again today. Really we are all tired of the sickness, winter has not even really started and I can't wait for it to be over.

Diggs Family Christmas Tree

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, how lovely are you branches....Well this is our Christmas tree. Not huge but just right for the amount of space we have. I just love the way it looks at night all lit up. Oh, by the way I hate the bow on top, but the tree topper we purchased was so ugly and it would blink green and blue. YUCK! I will be taking that back.

Holiday Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving. The Bistro was awesome, the food was delicious and Grant loved it. I had to work Friday and Saturday so it

really did not seem like much of a holiday. Saturday we had Thanksgiving dinner at Matthew's Parents house and then afterwards we went to my parents to see the Duff's. It was good seeing them, since I am not sure when we will get to see them again. Grant did not feel very good pretty much all weekend. I took him to the doctor he has double ear infection and tonsillitis. ROCK ON. Not really, this means no daycare until Wed. so today Grandpa is going to watch him for just 2 hours. We had a pretty rough night last night, he was up for about 2 hrs. he just could not get comfortable. Plus on tome of him not feeling well, he is getting his first tooth...I am so excited for that. Seems line he has been toothless forever, so he is really chewing on everything he can find.

On Sunday I put the Christmas Tree up and wrapped several gifts. All of them except for 2 are for Grant. I don't think I have ever seen this many presents under our tree before. It is very exciting for Matthew and I both.

The above pictures are of Grant taking a bath at Mimi and Pa's house Saturday evening, he loves the bath.
